Vedant Kanoi finished his B.Sc in Economics and Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh in 2006. His work experience includes his stint at UBS Investment Bank in New York where he handled clients such as Lehman Brothers, Pimco and Bear Stearns. Since 2009, Vedant has been working as an entrepreneur in the startup ecosystem in India while looking after family business. He has founded 3 startups, the current one FoodCloud has won the National Startup Award by the Govt. of India.
Vedant’s family business includes Tea, Chemicals, and Education. He has successfully launched and managed the family office for the Kanoi Group. He has been responsible for aggregating and managing the real estate portfolio ranging from Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Jaipur.He has recently led the Kanoi Group to expand into residential real estate development with their first project with around 300,000 sq. ft. of luxury development in the heart of Jaipur.
Apart from his active participation in his businesses, Vedant is a non-executive director in Transcorp International Limited, and a national board member of AIMA’s young leaders’ council.
